Associate Solution Architect, MPaaS

What the Role Entails

Position Overview

The Associate Solution Architect, MPaaS (Graduate) will join Tencent Cloud's media services team in Europe as an entry-level technical role, working under the guidance of senior architects and the regional sales team to learn and support pre-sales consultation, solution design, and proof-of-concept activities built on Tencent Cloud MPaaS (Media Platform as a Service). This role offers fresh graduates the opportunity to develop deep audio-video and cloud technology expertise while building strong customer-facing skills in an international and cross-cultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior architects and the regional sales team as an entry-level technical resource, assisting with pre-sales technical consultation and proof-of-concept (PoC) verification for Europe-based customers and helping maintain customer relationships.

• Assist in analysing customers' media business architectures across scenarios such as OTT, e-commerce, social media, gaming, and education, learning to identify customer needs and contributing to industry solutions and case studies.

• Learn to translate customer business and technical requirements into Tencent Cloud MPaaS capabilities, and support the documentation and communication of customer and industry requirements to the product development team.

• Participate in product and industry presentations, workshops, and training sessions, building knowledge of MPaaS product capabilities and industry practices while supporting Tencent Cloud's regional customer engagement activities.

• Collaborate with channel and marketing teams on ecosystem partner activities, including channel enablement training and industry workshops, to develop a well-rounded understanding of regional go-to-market operations.

Who We Look For

• Bachelor's degree or above (or graduating in the current academic year) in Computer Science, IT, cloud computing, or a related discipline.
• Professional proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and verbal, is required to support customer-facing technical consultation and solution document preparation for Europe-based customers in English, and to collaborate effectively with Chinese-speaking product and R&D teams at headquarters.
• Foundational knowledge of audio and video technologies, including live streaming, video on demand, encoding and decoding, and TCP/IP networking, demonstrated through coursework, projects, or internship experience.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset and willingness to learn, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical decision-makers and demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills in international environments.
• Demonstrated interest in media-related industries such as OTT, e-commerce, social media, gaming, or education, and in public cloud platforms, shown through academic projects, internships, or self-directed learning.
