Terms of use

How the site works and the rules for using it

These terms cover your use of gamesJobs (gamesjobs.co.uk). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

What gamesJobs is

gamesJobs is an independent, free-to-use job board. It collects live vacancies from the public careers pages and job feeds of UK games studios and presents them in one searchable place, alongside career guides and hiring statistics. gamesJobs is not a recruitment agency, does not act for any employer or candidate, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the studios whose roles it lists unless it says so explicitly.

Job listings

For studios

If you’re a studio and would like a listing corrected or removed, would like your careers page added, or would prefer not to be listed at all, email hello@gamesjobs.co.uk from your company domain. Requests are handled promptly. Listing on gamesJobs is free.

Guides and other content

The career guides and editorial content on this site are general information, written in good faith, not professional, legal or financial advice. Studios’ processes vary, so use your own judgement and check with the employer where it matters. The original written content, design and code of gamesJobs are owned by its operator; please don’t republish them wholesale without permission. Quoting short extracts with a link back is fine.

Acceptable use

Please don’t try to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or use it to collect personal data. Light, polite automated access (for example, the RSS feed) is welcome.

Third-party sites

The site links to studios’ careers pages and other external websites. We aren’t responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Liability

The site is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep listings accurate and current but can’t guarantee that every listing is complete, correct or still open. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited under English law.

Privacy

How the site uses cookies and personal data is explained in the privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always on this page. They are governed by the law of England and Wales.
