Our mission is to ensure the LEGO brand remains as powerfully a part of children’s lives in the coming decades as it has ever been. We aim to reach every kid on the planet, their parents, and adult fans, and provide them with meaningful, magical, and playful new experiences.

We are at an early phase of this new company, offering a unique opportunity to build a new entity for the world's most beloved and trusted brand. Our culture is open, collaborative, intellectually rigorous, and creatively vibrant.

We are looking for a General Manager to build a new mobile game and the team behind it. You will own the product from first concept through to launch and live operations, with end-to-end accountability for both the player experience and the commercial outcome.

Reporting to the Head of Mobile Studio, you will have genuine autonomy over the creative and commercial decisions for your business, while contributing to the wider studio's portfolio strategy. Building a title from nothing and running an established live game are different crafts. This role is for someone who has done the first: built a team from a standing start and taken a game to market.

Great games and great responsibility go together. Every decision here is underpinned by a commitment to child safety, trust and quality. We believe those principles are essential to building games that players and parents love.

Key Responsibilities

Set the vision and long-term strategy for a new mobile title, owning its direction as the business grows.

Take the product from early concept through launch and into live operations, proving product-market fit before scaling.

Recruit, build and lead a cross-functional team, shaping its culture and developing future leaders as the organisation grows.

Own the P&L, including the investment, resourcing and prioritisation decisions that come with it.

Lead creative direction, live operations, player engagement and monetisation to deliver strong player experiences and sustainable growth.

Use player insight, data and commercial judgement to decide when to iterate, invest, scale or stop.

Work with external development partners where they extend what the team can do.

Champion child safety and player trust as core design principles throughout.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

Proven leadership of a live free-to-play mobile title with credible P&L or full funnel accountability, ideally across both a build phase and a scale phase.

A track record of hiring and leading cross-functional game teams across product, design, engineering, art, analytics and live operations, either from a standing start or through significant growth.

Deep free-to-play craft across retention, engagement, economy design and live operations, with the analytical fluency to run a business on evidence rather than instinct.

The maturity to own a recommendation while another leader owns the decision, and the honesty to recommend stopping your own title when the evidence says so.

Genuine conviction that child safety and brand stewardship are design constraints that produce better games, not compliance burdens.

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience building for children and family audiences, or within regulated and safety-governed environments.

Franchise or multi-title portfolio management within an IP ecosystem.

Experience running a game business inside a larger group or brand owner, balancing entrepreneurial pace with enterprise governance.

Hybrid Working: This role is based in our London office.
