Your Mission
We're looking for a Senior UI Artist to join our Guildford Studio on a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract basis.
As a Senior UI Artist you will join Sledgehammer’s Global UIX team tasked with crafting the User Interface of our titles across in-game systems and the front-end, from pre-production through to shipping.
You will create high-quality UI art assets that help define and elevate the visual experience of our interfaces across the game.

Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Working with the UI Lead and Artist to create exceptional user interfaces throughout the game.
- Working on the art style of the interface.
- Create high-quality assets, iconography and visual targets.
- Working closely with designers and engineers to deliver the best possible user interface while staying within technical and aesthetic requirements.
- Participate in discussions around UI art workflows, tools, and pipelines, including the adoption of AI-assisted creative tools where appropriate.
Player Profile
- Demonstrable experience creating high-quality UI art and visual assets.
- Passionate about being an individual contributor, helping to shape the vision and deliver assets
- Exceptional interface art and graphic design skills.
- Capable of adapting to a range of art styles and techniques.
- Experience in motion graphics and animation.
- Is proactive in seeking feedback from peers and leads. Supports others to do the same.
- Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Proactively manages and communicates their workload to production and leads.
Extra Points
- Familiarity with UX design principles and user-centred thinking.
- Deep understanding of games is a requirement but experience working on games is not.
- Has created UI for at least one shipped AAA product.
- A clear portfolio of work that demonstrates previous projects and personal values.
