Role:

The Senior Gameplay Engineer develops and delivers gameplay features and game systems across internal projects and co-development partnerships. The role combines strong programming skills, systems knowledge and rapid prototyping experience to turn design ideas into reliable, maintainable gameplay.

The role will initially support an open-world fantasy survival-crafting title, contributing to gameplay implementation, prototyping and supporting systems. Responsibilities and project assignments will evolve as existing projects develop and new projects are commissioned.

Working closely with Design, Engineering, Art, QA and Production, you will take ownership of assigned gameplay features from initial investigation and prototyping through to implementation, iteration and final polish. You will draw on experience with Unreal Engine 5, Blueprints, Unity and custom engines to evaluate technical approaches and resolve development challenges.
