<p><span><strong>Location:</strong> Derby, UK (Studio-based)</span><br><span><strong>Type:</strong> Full-time</span></p><p></p><p><span>We’re looking for a hands-on <strong>Junior IT Support Technician</strong> to support our fast-paced game development studio. This is a highly visible, on-the-floor role where you’ll troubleshoot issues in real time, support developers, and keep our technology running smoothly.</span></p><p><span>No two days are the same—you’ll be solving problems, supporting events, setting up new starters, and assisting with projects across the studio.</span></p><p></p><p><span><strong>What you'll be doing </strong></span></p><p><span>-First-line IT support: triage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues</span></p><p><span>-Support hardware, software, networking, and studio tools</span></p><p><span>-Set up and manage new starter and leaver equipment</span></p><p><span>-Maintain meeting rooms and support studio events/AV</span></p><p><span>-Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and system rollouts</span></p><p><span>-Keep documentation and asset records up to date</span></p><p></p><p><strong>What we're looking for </strong></p><p><span>-Strong communication skills and a user-first mindset</span></p><p><span>-Genuine interest in IT with a proactive, problem-solving approach</span></p><p><span>-Ability to stay organised and calm under pressure</span></p><p><span>-Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude</span></p><p><span>-Full UK driving licence</span></p><p><span><strong>Desirable:</strong></span></p><p><span>-Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems</span></p><p><span>-Familiarity with Windows/Linux, networking basics, AD or M365</span></p><p><span>-Interest in games or creative industries</span></p><p><br></p>
